Both Friends of LJES and LJES PTO have monthly board meetings held on the second Tuesday and Thursday of each month, respectively. These are open meetings and therefore, you can attend as a parent / guardian of LJES. If you want to discuss your attendance before the meeting then please speak to either the President of Friends of LJES or to Presidents Dana & Sarah of the PTO. Our meetings give parents and teachers the opportunity to work together and cooperate in the education of all students at LJES. We have lots of events and activities throughout the year and communication with our community is really important. Individual student matters should be addressed directly with our Principal, Dr Hasselbrink.

Friends of LJES is a non profit educational foundation and, our primary purpose is to raise much needed funds that enable access to an enriched education which directly benefits all LJES students. We hold several fund raising campaigns throughout the year and the Board, teacher representative and Principal discuss how these funds are allocated.
